Chris Berkner - Chief Executive Officer
Chris Berkner has extensive experience in start-up management including business analysis and software development. He founded AnalyViz, a 7-person consulting company that specialized in business intelligence dashboards. His diverse client base included AIG, Pfizer, Avery-Dennison and the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. Previously, he was Vice President of Systems and Programming Guinness Telli*Phone Corp., where he spearheaded the launch of the company's first three products and helped grow the company's valuation from $8M to $120M in six months.
For over 19 years, Chris has engaged his passion for green technology and renewable energy. He has held a renewable energy research internship at Stanford's Material Science Deapartment where he discovered a new method for controlling pore size in organic nanostructured materials for photovoltaics. He also spent a summer at Princeton University studying the economic and environmental implications of Brazil's biomass energy program. Chris graduated with honors from UC Santa Cruz with a B.A. in Business Economics. In addition, he has taken extensive coursework in chemistry and engineering at San Francisco State University and UC Berkeley.

Lance Donny - Chief Financial Officer
Lance is a 20 year executive with a broad experience in technology, finance, and early stage companies. Lance is a true Central Valley native where he grew up working on his family’s farm growing grapes and tree fruit from Madera to Livingstone.
Lance’s success has been achieved with several leading companies including MBIA where he consulted to over 100 cities throughout California and United Security Bank where he built and managed their corporate consulting practice. In addition, Lance founded or was involved in several early stage companies in varied industries including software and financial services. Prior to joining PureSense he was Managing Partner of Valley Ventures Group, the Central Valley’s premier consulting, mergers and acquisitions, and private equity practice serving established and emerging companies.
Lance is a graduate of California State University Fresno with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. He resides in Fresno with his wife Amber and their two children, Mason and Chandler.

John Williamson - Senior Vice President
John was part of the founding team of PureSense, helping to establish sales, service and business operations with a focus on driving customer satisfaction. John has over 20 years experience providing leadership at early stage technology companies in software, multimedia and telecommunications businesses in both the US and Europe. He has helped lead 5 software start-ups, 4 of which grew into profitable service businesses. John started his career working in international business development for GTE Corporation. He was also one of the founders of SurfMonkey, where he helped raise venture funding to develop a successful online service for kids that was later sold to Earthlink. John holds a BSc with Honours in engineering from Nottingham University, England and an MBA from the Georgia Institute of Technology.

Michelle Frey - VP Products
Michelle Frey is also a co-founder. Prior to PureSense, she was Vice President at McGuire Environmental, Manager at Hagler Baily, Engineer at Black & Veatch, and Assistant Director, Regulatory Affairs at the American Water Works Association. Michelle has researched and published extensively on quality control and remote monitoring. Michelle graduated from Louisiana State University, Baton Rouge with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and a Master of Science in Civil Engineering degrees. She also earned her Ph.D from University of Colorado, Boulder.
