Marketing Analyst

Position Summary
PureSense works with growers to improve irrigation management. We are seeking a Marketing Analyst with 1) a strong analytical mind and a passion for unearthing relevant insights by “deep diving” into available data and other resources that support our value proposition in the Agricultural industry. 2) A researcher who understands the marketing mandate to create compelling arguments and can recognize the potential implications of data and then search to build those arguments. 3) Business acumen that drives the Analyst to identify the “path through numbers,” and the conviction to demonstrate how their analysis should guide the company’s future expansion and investments.

Job Details:

ACCOUNTABILITIES – The Marketing Analyst is accountable for delivering upon the activities below in order to draw conclusions, identify implications, and make recommendations to VP Marketing and other constituents;

•    Pricing;  analyze competitive PureSense pricing relative to all other grower costs and other competitive options

•    Competitive analysis and tracking; Maintain up-to-date estimate of competitive market movement to include geographic expansion and product introductions

•    Market segmentation and Market Planning; Identify highest potential US and International markets and prospect customers

•    Metrics development and tracking of advertising and lead generation initiatives

•    Product analysis; report on the implications of usage, pricing and penetration of PureSense products

•    Customer analysis; Report on growth and penetration trends, by crop type, irrigation method, etc.

•    Create case studies that demonstrate how the company's product solution has benefited clients

•    Work with VP Marketing extensively to access data and support company initiatives

•    Participate with cross functional teams and Executives to analyze market and product financial sensitivities

Job Requirements:

•    Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (i.e. Business Administration, Economics, etc.)

•    At least 2 to 5 years experience in quantitative analysis

•    Expert in Microsoft Excel

•    Strong knowledge of Salesforce.com, PowerPoint

•    Those with database architecture and manipulation skills will have priority

•    A degree or job experience in the ag business or agronomy is preferred
