Position Summary
PureSense works with growers to improve irrigation management. We are currently seeking a Channel Marketing Manager capable of leading the design of the company’s partner strategy, with primary focus on driving sales lead generation efforts through innovative agreements with PCA’s, Irrigation equipment vendors, independent agronomy consultants, grower associations and others as appropriate. Additionally, this manager is responsible for modeling and developing a scalable re-seller channel to cover all aspects of service, support and sales. The Channel Marketing Manager will develop, gain executive team approval and implement comprehensive partner plans, policies and procedures that most efficiently drive lead generation and build industry equity while minimizing channel conflict between partners. The successful Channel Marketing Manager will; • Generate an effective sales and marketing strategy that increases partner engagement resulting in substantial incremental sales revenue. • Engage with the leadership of each PureSense partner and potential partner to define the relationship and implement agreed upon marketing and communications initiatives. • Work with the PureSense Marketing Manager and Training Manager to develop and implement effective sales tools and partner training programs.
Position Details
ACCOUNTABILITIES – The Channel Marketing Manager is accountable for ensuring that all traditional marketing tactics include a partner channel element and that all partner initiatives are supported by compelling marketing and sales support materials that reinforce the PureSense value proposition.
• Support channel marketing lead generation efforts, including partner on-boarding and recruiting, and coordinating joint grower events, promotions and other selling initiatives.
• Develop and implement a complete partner management system that includes lead gen tracking, lead conflict resolution, joint quarterly planning and goal setting with channel partners
• Coordinate partner training programs, including sales, service and support certification
• Coordinate partner communications, including newsletters, monthly sales reports, partner marketing programs, collateral and other materials as needed
Job Requirements:
• At least 7 years experience in Agricultural Industry Marketing and Selling
• Demonstrable relationships with Agricultural Industry Leaders especially growers, shipper/packers, PCA’s, Industry consultants,
• Strong knowledge of PowerPoint, Excel, Salesforce.com
• Bachelor’s degree - A degree in Ag business or agronomy is preferred
